Cafetières allow for the brewing of coffee without the use of pressure or the boiling process. This results in a coffee with a richer flavour, a smoother sensation in your mouth, and a superior overall quality. The major benefit of using a cafetière is that it allows you to brew a cup to your own personal taste, and your guests to do the same! You can change the amount of coffee grounds used, the period of time the grounds are steeped, the type and size of the grounds, and even the temperature of the water you use to truly customise your drinks service to your customers' needs, wants, and requirements. This lovely La Cafetière, eight Cup has a heat-resistant borosilicate glass jug, so you can not only watch your coffee brew but also keep your hands cool even when it's full of steaming coffee. The frame, handle, lid, and plunger are all comprised of strong and durable chrome, allowing you to consistently make rich flavourful coffee. The holder and filter must be washed by hand, but the jug detaches easily and is dishwasher safe.

If you’re new to cafetières, here’s a quick “how-to”:

1. Boil your kettle, and leave it to rest for a minute
2. Add your ground coffee into your cafetière (one scoop for every delicious cup you’d like to make)
3. Fill the cafetière with the rested boiled water
4. Stir the coffee and top up with water if needed, wait around 4 minutes with the lid on to keep in the heat
5. Scoop out any floating grounds of coffee, and discard
6. Slowly push down the cafetière filter and serve (Always make sure to do this step carefully and slowly)

Free delivery on all orders over £50 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.

Orders under £50 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service. 

All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.

Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online

If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of the sale and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.

If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.

If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
